BLOOM is inspired by and pays homage to my grandfather, Robert Bloomfield. He was an engineer for Rolls-Royce, working on the famous merlin engine used in the spitfire and hurricane aircraft. Bloomfield has a long history of British merchants stretching back to my great, great grandfathers butchery in Suffolk in the late 1800’s. Notice the BLOOM logo is the same today as it was back then.

Creativity also ran in the family where Bob’s second lifelong passion was photography, seen in the images he captured above. His brother, Ken Bloomfield, worked at Hardy Amies on Savile Row in the 70’s, where for both brothers, being well dressed was an important part of life.

Fast forward to today, Bloom is a brand from London with a strong focus on design that specialises in leather goods that are crafted in Italy.
